The cooperation partners of an EU-project came to our city

The Giresun teachers association (Giresun Egitimciler Dernegi) realizes an EUfunded Grundtvig-project on e-learning and visited today together with its cooperation partners from Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania – altogether 13 participants - Governor Mustafa Yaman at his office residence.

On the occasion of the visit Governor Mustafa Yaman made a speech and expressed his hope that this global mutual support could be continued in every respect.
Governor Mustafa remarked that with the help of such EU-funded projects the human relationship strengthens worldwide and the character of the relationship gains an important issue. He pointed out “The mutual sharing which emerges from projects like this provides the basis that differences will abolish or rather become less important”.

Governor Yaman made the statement towards the guests who came to our town to work on such an important topic like ‘education’: “We are extremely happy to welcome you here and to accompany you”. Governor Mustafa Yaman was informed about the details of the project. After distributing different gifts which are related to the city of Giresun also the Portuguese committee presented a book to the Governor. It was learned that the EU-funded project E-learning is financed with 16.500 Euro and that the project will comprise a period of 2 years duration.
